For want of a nail
- There is a prose poem by an unknown author that goes like this:
For want of a nail
the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe
the horse was lost.
For want of a horse
the rider was lost.
For want of a rider
the battle was lost.
For want of a battle
the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want
of a horseshoe nail.
- We know that it was published by Benjamin Franklin, but that's all. Nevertheless, it has been used many times to justify many things. We are using it here to justify the need for donations to keep The Aloha Project alive.
Aloha Fellowship Participation
- Aloha International is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization incorporated in the United States for the purpose of spreading the Aloha Spirit and teaching the Seven Principles of Huna. It is also the coordinator for The Aloha Project.
- Aloha International is a volunteer organization with no employees. For its administrative operations it uses two independent contractors, one of whom is self-supporting, and the other of whom is supported by internally generated funds.
- This means that all donations from the general public are used for direct support of The Aloha Project, with no percentage deducted for adminstrative overhead.
- Donations to The Aloha Project may be made in US currency, checks drawn on a US bank, or by Visa or Master Card.
- Online Donations can be made through our secure server by Clicking Here.
